Unfinished Business receives ACS Cinematography Awards

Monday 20th November 2006

The Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) Queensland held their annual awards dinner on Saturday 18 November at the Gold Cost Convention Centre. The awards acknowledge achievements in the field of cinematography over the previous year.

Yarnmaker Director of Photography Jason Kempnich received a Silver award for cinematography in a short film for his work on the Yarnmaker film Unfinished Business. Later in the night, he was also awarded the Australian Film Television & Radio School (AFTRS) Incentive Award for the same body of work.

The full 2006 ACS Awards results can be found at the ACS website.

Unfinished Business is the first production from Yarnmaker. Directed by Jason Kempnich and starting Kazuya Wright, Peta McCulloch, Darren Taylor and Barbara Baugh, it explores the consequences of an ill deed, seemingly long forgotten.
