H.P. Lovecraft, Hell's Half Mile, Underexposed

Friday 22nd September 2006

The Yarnmaker short film Unfinished Business has been officially selected to screen at three more film festivals in the USA:

The H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival
Screening in Portland Oregon from 6 - 8 October 2006, the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival promotes the works of H.P. Lovecraft, literary horror, & weird tales through the cinematic adaptations by professional & amateur filmmakers. Whilst Unfinished Business isn't a Lovecraft story, it shares several traits with infamous Lovecraft stories. See their website for screening times.

Hell's Half Mile Film & Music Festival
Screening 29 September - 1 October 2006 in Bay City, Michigan, the festival was developed as a means to bring fantastic films and original music to an area of Michigan that rarely sees much outside of the mainstream. Despite the name, this is not a horror themed festival: In the late 1800's, a stretch of Bay City's riverfront was known as Hell's Half Mile. It was a place lined with raucous saloons and two-bit hotels where turn-of-the-century loggers and shipmen would go to blow off steam and take in more than a little local color. See their website for screening times.

The Underexposed Film Festival
Screening in Atlanta Georgia in March 2007 (to be confirmed). This established festival has unfortunately had to postpone their October 2006 screenings until March 2007. So drop on by in 2007 and check our film out! See their website for screening times closer to March 2007.

These and other upcoming screenings of Unfinished Business can be found on our Screenings Page.
