Beloit International and Dam Short screenings
Tuesday 25th January 2011
Unrepentant, a 15 minute short film from Yarnmaker, will screen three times in February in the USA:
Screening in the historic Boulder Theatre, the Dam Short Film Festival plays to Boulder, Nevada audiences just two miles from the iconic Hoover Dam. The festival is now in its 7th year and features not only the usual panels and parties, but its own film market. The Dam Short Film festival runs from 9th February 2011, with Unrepentant screening in the Criminal Minds slot on the 11th February.
Screening at many venues in Beloit, the Beloit International Film Festival is a large festival in Wisconsin with over 250 volunteers helping make it a success so far over its 6 years and one to watch as it continues to grow and make a name for itself. The festival has a jam packed schedule running at multiple venues over its four days, ensuring there will be something for everyone. The Beloit International Film Festival runs from 17th February 2011, screening Unrepentant twice, first on Friday 18th February, and again on Saturday 19th February 2011.
Unrepentant raises the ethical question of sex offenders who have served their incarceration time, but psychologically are highly likely to re-offend. It is a difficult subject with no easy answers.
